 105  Oh! Look! There are Mrs. Corry. Miss Annie and Miss Fannie in the yard!   Miss Fannie has two long ladders on her shoulder.  Miss Annie has a large pail with glue in one hand and a big paintbrush in the other.   Look! Somebody is coming to them. Children (together). That is Mary Poppins! She carries a basket in her arm. Look! Mary Poppins takes something shiny from her basket and fixes it to the glue!   
And in the basket there is something, it shines very brightly! What do they want to do? Children (together). They reach the sky! It is the Gingerbread Star! Are these stars ours? Let’s look into our places!  There is nothing in the pencil-box! There is nothing under the pillow. So, these are our stars! Yes, they are ours! My name is on the first star. So it is mine! My name is on the second star. So it is mine! Why aren’t you in beds? Where is Mary Poppins? She is in the yard.  What does she do? She fixes the golden paper stars to the sky.  What? I don’t see her. It’s impossible. Children (together). Look at the sky! 105 |
